Cultural Diversity Webinar Training Series for Educators:

The ACCC-cosponsored program offers eight professional development webinars this year with a focus on American Muslims to meet the need for diversity education and cultural competency skills development. Seminars are especially designed for administrators and educators. Due to growing negative perceptions about Muslims as evidenced in a recent survey by Gallup Poll that shows Americans are more than twice as likely to express prejudice against Muslims than they are against Jews, Buddhists or Christians; the diversity seminars address contemporary issues and the need for education to eliminate harmful stereotypes.

Participants will receive support from training expert Aisha Morgan, to help take the knowledge and information gained from the training, and integrate it into your classroom. The webinar training will also provide extensive online curriculum resources for you to access.
