18th ANNUAL ARAB CULTURAL FESTIVAL
Every October, the ACCC hosts the Arab Cultural Festival. It is the largest celebration of Arab arts and culture in Northern California. Since 1995, this day-long event has showcased the arts, entertainment, cuisine, traditions, and, most importantly, the spirit of Arab Americans and of the Arab world. On the stage at the center of the booth bazaar, performers will present Arab music and dance from across America and the Arab world.
The festival reflects and embraces our community's diversity and its contributions to the Bay Area's cultural landscape. The goals of the festival reflect and embody the Arab Cultural and Community Center's mission statement: through the platform of performance, community engagement and cultural relations, we empower Arab Americans to express pride in their heritage and, more immediately, to express themselves.
The festival is accessible to all Bay Area community members, whether they live in the East Bay, the South Bay or the nearby neighborhoods of San Francisco, via the nearby BART and MUNI stations. The event will is open and welcoming to people from all backgrounds who want to see world-class performances, take part in children's activities or just have some delicious treats. The Arab Cultural Festival is a vital ingredient in the Bay Area's diverse and vibrant cultural scene.
