Social Services Department

The Arab Cultural and Community Center's Social Services Department is the leading resource for social services referrals and case management among Arab new immigrants and refugees living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Begun in 2002, the ACCC Social Services Department has expanded our programs yearly to provide this increasingly underserved new immigrant population with essential services to help them in their transition to life in the United States.

Our purpose is to support clients who are experiencing difficulties in accessing basic services because of language and cultural barriers. Our wide range of case management services include: translations and accompaniment to legal offices; hospitals and clinics; legal and health referrals; mental health services and referrals; free English and computer classes for new immigrant women; parenting classes; nutrition classes; life skills trainings; housing and job searches; immigration assistance; intensive domestic violence/sexual assault case management and prevention program; cultural competency trainings to mainstream health care providers, schools and more.
