Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Education and Prevention

The Arab Cultural and Community Center's Domestic Violence (DV) Program provides intensive case management for Arab victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and trafficking who live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our program also conducts outreach trainings aimed at family violence prevention and education, including trainings both within the community and to mainstream service providers.

One of our guiding goals in our domestic violence program is to support families in leading a life free of violence. Many women in domestic violence situations request support and help to overcome language and cultural barriers they face in accessing the essential services available to them (such as domestic violence shelters, welfare services, legal services, health services). The ACCC Domestic Violence Program staff is bi-lingual, bi-cultural and are California certified domestic violence advocates and interpreters.
