Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services

The ACCC is dedicated to assisting our clients build healthy family relationships. One of the primary goals of our domestic violence program is to empower families to lead a life free of violence and abuse. Arabs in domestic violence situations often request support overcoming the cultural and language barriers that prevent them from accessing shelter, welfare, legal, health and other essential services.

The ACCC provides workshops for educating the community on the signs of DV and different forms of abuse. The program also helps address the misuse of religion to justify oppressive or violent behaviors. We play a neutral role in decisions about the outcome of domestic violence cases, whether it be reunification or separation. We genuinely respect the wishes of our clients and assist them with creating the outcome that they ultimately desire.

Our Domestic Violence Services Include:

-Helping survivors heal with therapy.

-Educating perpetrators and survivors on the cycle of violence

-Helping survivors access basic needs and develop self-sufficiency

-Legal advocacy and support

-DV and Sexual Assault Education and Prevention
